When the wall box already lacks a dedicated neutral, a no neutral wire smart switch quote is a wiring constraint first and a catalog pick second. Freeze gang count, 2-way or 3-way notes, load type, and the protocol printed on the listing before anyone ships cartons.
This page is the RFQ field sheet for that constraint. It filters printed switch classes, blocks invented capacitor or amp stories, and points to a bounded MOES dual-wiring Zigbee listing after the sheet is signed. Browse the smart switch pillar once those fields are frozen.

It freezes the wall-box wiring condition before the SKU line is written. A switch loop often leaves only hot and switched-hot at the plate, with the neutral remaining at the fixture.
Procurement language sometimes treats “no neutral” as a product nickname. On a channel sheet it is a site condition: the white bundle is absent or unverified at that opening.
Photograph the open box after the circuit is proven dead by a qualified person. Mark the row as no-neutral present, not “maybe.”
Uncertain still blocks a neutral-required WiFi class. It does not authorize a ground wire to stand in for a return path.
Only listings that print no-neutral or dual wiring still belong when the box is confirmed two-wire. Neutral-required titles stay off that row even if the finish looks similar.
A Zigbee wall switch (dual wiring) on MOES states both a neutral option and a single-live, neutral-free setup on the same family page. That smart switch no neutral wire class language is what unlocks the quote.
| Printed class (live page language) | Wiring language on the page | Fits a verified no-neutral box? |
|---|---|---|
| Zigbee wall switch (dual wiring) / no capacitor | Neutral option or single-live no-neutral; no capacitor needed | Yes, when the variant matches the site photos |
| WiFi+RF433 switch 1/2/3 gang | Neutral wire is required; Live+Neutral | No |
| Star Ring WiFi push-button switch | Neutral Wire Required | No |
The WiFi+RF433 switch page states that a neutral wire is required in the switch boxes — a neutral wire required smart switch class for boxes that already have a white bundle. The Star Ring WiFi switch title and description print Neutral Wire Required.
Those two classes remain useful when the sheet later shows a white bundle. They are the wrong answer for a verified switch-loop opening.

Record how many gangs are on the plate and how many of those gangs actually feed a load. Empty gangs on a no-neutral multi-gang unit are a common flicker complaint in field threads.
Write the plate as 1-gang, 2-gang, or 3-gang as ordered. Then add a second note: which gangs are landed on a lamp today.
If gang 2 and gang 3 sit idle while gang 1 carries the only light, say so on the sheet. Channel support needs that note before anyone argues about “bad LEDs” alone.
Finish color and region format still matter for the carton. They do not replace the wired-versus-empty gang map.
Mark single-pole versus multi-location control, and copy the association method the listing actually prints. Many dual-wiring pages describe 2/3-way through multi-control association in the app rather than classic traveler diagrams.
On the MOES dual-wiring Zigbee wall switch page, multi-control association links one light across switches, with a printed limit that only one gang per switch can be linked. Put that limit on the RFQ when the hallway needs two locations.
Do not invent traveler wire colors or “primary/aux” roles the page never shows. If the site still has mechanical 3-way travelers and the buyer wants a different architecture, that is a separate engineering note, not a silent assumption on the SKU line.
When control should leave the wall plate entirely, a hidden Zigbee relay module is a different product class with its own hub and load words. Keep that path on a separate line if the wall box stays two-wire and the plate must remain mechanical.
Capture lamp type and wattage class against the printed load table, then stop. Invented bypass kit amp ratings and milliamp bleed figures that never appear on the MOES page do not belong on the PO.
The dual-wiring Zigbee listing prints inductive LED/CFL loads at 3–120W, resistive loads at 3–300W for 110V and 3–600W for 220V, and current type Total 10A. Copy those bounds when that SKU is the quoted class.
LED load sensitivity still matters as a risk field. Installers and community threads report ghosting or flicker when standby current rides through low-watt lamps.
Important: If the listing says no capacitor is needed, leave the bypass capacitor line blank instead of inventing a kit amp story. If a future kit or fixture bypass is truly required for a different SKU, name the ownership and part only when that listing or shipment documents it. Copy the wireless line from the live page, then confirm the variant with sales when title and table disagree. Protocol is a BOM field, not a brand preference slogan.
A Zigbee no neutral switch quote still follows the printed radio line. The dual-wiring Zigbee wall switch page prints Wireless type ZigBee and states that a Tuya Zigbee hub is required. Put the Zigbee hub / gateway on the same RFQ when that class is selected.
The WiFi+RF433 page prints Wi-Fi 2.4GHz plus RF433 and, again, neutral required. That combination is a different quote path for boxes that already have a white bundle.
One crystal-glass dual-wiring page title says ZigBee while its specs table prints Wi-Fi 2.4GHz. Freeze both printed strings and confirm which variant ships before the channel promises a hub-free WiFi story or a Zigbee mesh story.

When photos show a two-wire box and the sheet needs a wall switch class, start with the live dual-wiring listing that prints no-neutral wiring and no capacitor needed. Keep every number and hub note page-scoped.
Use the MOES Smart ZIGBEE Wall Light Switch with Neutral Wire or No Neutral Wire Wiring No Capacitor Needed page as the bounded example. It prints AC 100–250V 50/60Hz, Total 10A, LED/CFL 3–120W, ZigBee radio, power consumption ≤0.5W, and hub requirement.

Quote finish and gang options only after they appear on the order confirmation. The page’s 2/3-way story is multi-control association, not a promise that every traveler layout will map one-to-one.
If the sheet later proves a neutral is present, reopen the neutral-required WiFi+RF433 or Star Ring WiFi classes instead of forcing the dual-wiring SKU by habit.
The sheet is ready when wiring photos, class choice, gang map, multi-way note, load class, and protocol-plus-hub lines are signed. Hardware should not leave the warehouse on a verbal “it is no neutral.”
| RFQ field | What to write | Example values |
|---|---|---|
| Wall-box neutral status | Present / absent / uncertain | Absent — two conductors only |
| Switch class filter | Dual-wiring no-neutral vs neutral-required | Dual-wiring Zigbee wall switch |
| Gang map | Plate gangs + landed loads | 3-gang plate; only gang 1 loaded |
| Multi-way | Single-pole or multi-control association | Association; one gang linkable per switch |
| Load class | Lamp type + wattage vs printed table | LED, ~9W each, within 3–120W inductive |
| Protocol as printed | Exact wireless line + hub ownership | ZigBee + Tuya Zigbee hub in BOM |
| Bypass / capacitor | Only if listing or kit documents it | “No capacitor needed” per listing — no invented kit |
| Photos archived | Box + fixture access notes | Dated job folder link |
Professional wiring practice still expects labels and archived schemes for the next crew. A channel RFQ that skips photos turns the first flicker ticket into a blame loop.
Send the signed pack through Contact Us when OEM labeling or mixed-protocol cartons are part of the same order.
It means the wall box lacks a dedicated neutral return, so the quote may use only switch classes whose live pages print no-neutral or dual wiring for that condition.
No. On MOES, the WiFi+RF433 and Star Ring WiFi pages reviewed for this sheet print neutral required. Protocol alone does not unlock a two-wire box.
The Smart ZIGBEE wall light switch page that titles neutral wire or no neutral wire wiring, no capacitor needed, is the primary bounded example. Confirm the shipped variant against site photos.
Lamp type, approximate wattage class, and the printed inductive or resistive bounds for the chosen listing. Add bypass ownership only when a listing or kit documents a part.
For the dual-wiring Zigbee wall switch page, yes — the copy states a Tuya Zigbee hub is required. Put the hub on the BOM with the switches.
No. If the page says no capacitor is needed, keep that wording. Omit milliamp bleed figures that are not printed on the MOES listing.
No. Ground is not a substitute return path for smart-switch electronics, and it must not appear as a workaround on the sheet.
Mark single-pole versus multi-location needs, then copy the listing’s multi-control association notes, including any one-gang link limit. Do not invent traveler roles the page never prints.
